Combine 3 Tbsp loose leaf Lapsang Souchong tea with 2 cups of *hot (not boiling, but hot enough to comfortably drink) water. Steep/soak tea leaves for 20-30 minutes, checking the tea every 5-10 minutes to make sure it hasn’t gone bitter (from being over-soaked). Strain liquid from tea leaves and store in an air tight container. Get ready to infuse this smokey liquid into everything!
